It’s difficult to distinguish between intuition, and discomfort in new situations. Sometimes it seems that “discomfort” is saying something true about the upcoming experience - but then it turns out to be me just not being used to certain circumstances.

Flight of the Rubber Chicken
Moment of revelation regarding how hard I’ve been on myself for not picking up ballet as fast as I’d like. I get frustrated when I compare myself to those who have done it for years - which is silly since I’ve only gone through a few classes.
Constantly looking forward at where I want to be - I don’t often take the time to step back and absorb how far I’ve come....
